I'm sorry if I missed them but has there been much mention of the Prison Strike here.

It was a surprise to me when my son mentioned it today. It sounds very significant and I have not heard a peep about it on MSNBC. I watch it quite a bit. I am usually shocked at how many very important topics are not talked about much. I know the Trump investigations are very important but I think a broader knowledge of national goings-on would help show how much Republicans in general are destroying our country. What have you heard? Have I just missed a bunch of posts?

I watch MSNBC nearly every night for hours and I have not seen it mentioned. And, by the way, life is sacred if we decide to consider it such. Just as Truth and many other higher moral concepts. We can debate forever. Don't pick a fight with me on this. I am a liberal Dem from way back and I was just asking a question. Sheesh

I am tired of people complaining about the media and then only mentioning the one place where truth can be found.

I normally watch Ari, Chris Hayes, Rachel in the evening. I watch Stephanie Ruhle in the a.m. and Ali and Stephanie on my days off when I am not involved in something else. I think I was asking about DU and how much the story has been mentioned here. It is evidently in its 19th day (the Strike).

I am just lamenting the fact that there seems little emphasis being placed on the horrid things that the Republican government is doing to the country in regards to economics, health care, environmental regs, climate change, etc. I have seen little bits on the news channel I watch but I feel more needs to be said. I have seen things of interest on our bad prison system. John Oliver had a good segment sometime ago. Since I just learned about the strike today I was wondering who might have been following it. That is all

7. If we imprisoned non POC with the same rules as we do POC we probably would pay them better

But since the belief is most prisoners are not that word that starts with a W, we dont need to care about them.
