McCain's passing is going to be quite a problem for Trump.

Wall to wall media coverage and then the funeral that he has been banned from attending. Then, the renaming of the Russell Senate office building from a southern segregationist to an American hero. For the "look at me" President, this is going to be hard to endure, not to mention whatever happens to come up in the corruption investigations going on on several fronts. The next several days may well produce a "perfect storm".

I would be so ashamed of any behavior of mine that would lead to such a thing. Donald Trump is such a man that people do not want him at their funeral, and who make it clear. What an embarrassment for the person who is banned.

That he will not be in attendance for that reason should be in the news. It gives the measure of Donald Trump for who he is. For anyone other than a narcissistic sociopath, it would be a very depressing situation. I expect Trump to express his anger, instead.

He thought the US had a duty to stop dictators: he thought that was the biggest lesson from WWII and that’s why he supported the Iraq war. I read that he hated Saddam Hussein and thought removing him was important. His time as a POW obviously solidified and shaped this belief.

So - if his passing and legacy has a negative impact on the wannabee dictator squatting in the WH - yeah, I think he would like that.
