Trump is re-tweeting himself so that the McCain tweet gets pushed W-A-Y down his timeline.

He's re-tweeted himself a half dozen times this morning and I am sure that the intention is to push the McCain tweet "below the fold" so that it's not visible.

8. Trumo's retweeting his own tweets bumps them up to the top of his timeline and makes them reappear

for his followers. The original date doesn't disappear from the tweet, but it is made more prominent with the retweet.

7. Nope...that's why I suggested it was a deliberate move.

The stuff he's re-tweeting is of no great sense of urgency or consequence, it's almost as if he just went to random recent tweets and re-tweeted them to push the McCain tweet down. The only way it would move back up is if he re-tweeted it.

Re the latter, he's trying to get more attention for another of the tabloid-level Sara Carter non-stories Hannity loves to push, attacking the FBI or other government agencies.
