listening again to Trump puzzling over why Sessions didn't warn him

he was going to recuse himself. Jesus god--has no one explained to Trump why Sessions recused himself? Trump says "he was on the campaign, so he knows what was going on"--well duh. That's why he had to recuse himself, dummy--*after you fired Comey*. Why didn't Trump warn Sessions he was going to fire Comey?

Or does Trump understand perfectly well why Sessions recused himself, but he knows that his base either doesn't understand or doesn't care, and he's keeping up this drumbeat to get his supporters to want him to fire Sessions?

Just for fun, though, why hasn't a reporter asked old Smokey if Trump understands why Sessions recused himself?

1. Trump has no respect, whatsoever, for ethical behavior.

So, while he probably has heard about the rules that caused Sessions to recuse himself, Trump thinks those rules are stupid and don't apply to his administration.

He does not care about laws, rules or even common decency. He understands, but thinks people who follow rules are weak and stupid.

2. Adulation, power and money is what he cares about

Anything else is a potential roadblock to those three things. He doesn't care about laws, rules, traditon or anything else. Trump just sees Jeff Sessions not working 24/7 to fix his problems so he can have more time for adulation, power and money.

4. He did warn him, Trump just chose not to listen

Sessions was talking about recusing himself in his nomination hearings. Right then and there, Trump could have pulled the nomination. He was either not paying attention ( which is possible) or too stupid to think he actually would ( which is more likely)

Cheeto didn't listen to Sessions, because it wasn't anything about HIM.
I'm quite sure Cheeto had no clue what "recusal" even meant then.
But he knows now!

5. trump is probably lying

Because he knew Sessions had been talking to russians, and was going to use it against him to pressure him with it, and his claims are probably more lies so he could claim why didn't he tell me. He also probably oked all the White House people and administration they could all ignore filling out security clearances forms correctly leaving off all russian contacts, or intentionally covering it all up. He should be asked why did all these people fill them out incorrectly , or not at all. Sessions gotten stuff on trump knowing how corrupt he is , and how he does. Maybe trump discovered Session has already turned and has been talking to Mueller all along to save himself. If trump approved of the falsely filling these forms out he's in deeper troubles .
