On the negative side, willingly or not, he picked Sarah Palin.

6. Lieberman Would Have Been A Million Times Better

We never would have had Sarah and her backwoods family forced upon us for the remainder of their days. She would be some unknown from Alaska, not the hotbed State of political discourse.

Lieberman is a known individual, so his presence would not have been some grand adventure, like Sarah's was. He would have been much more dull and boring, and obviously they still would have lost.
