I am of two minds about that. My parents weren't rich but I lived in a home, albeit a seven hundred square foot one with a pebble roof. My dad had a friend who lived in a trailer with his wife and kid. I didn't think twice about going there. Now when I think of trailers I think of Trump.

8. I don't look down on them because of economics

I look down on them because I believe they have no ethics. We have friends, a married couple, who are rich as Croesus and Trumpies. The husband owns a box factory, and the wife is a lawyer and college professor. When we try to talk politics with them, they tell us we are "elitists" by which I finally figured out they think we feel "holier than thou"--that we disapprove of their greed, or their lack of concern for the environment, or name your issue. The fact is, we *don't* feel holier than thou--we just can't understand how educated people could not have compassion for the less fortunate--and yet, and yet! They are generous donors to certain causes--yet they do feel, I think, that we feel morally superior.

They slurp up Fox News and Limbaugh and many slurp the likes of Alex Jones. Everything else to them is, as with their Orange Hero , “Fake News”.......which is straight out of the playbook of Hitler and Goebbels.

Trump made some curious statements about running as a Democrat and had he actually done it I would have held my nose and voted for Jeb Bush or whoever might beat him. But apparently a lot of the right would have voted for Hitler if he could be brought back from Hell.
