(3,784 posts)If he were to offer to completely spill his guts in such a way that the Trump trial would be a slam-dunk, I think they might consider it, but somehow I just don't see that happening.

Dems would need a very sizable margin to impeach in the house cause they would not get a single republican vote, and you WILL have Ds who won't make the vote.
They will N E V E R have the margin in the senate to prosecute impeachment over a manafort pardon - hell, there probably would not be enough of a margin in the senate to impeach him if he hijacked AF1, landed in Russia and handed the nuclear football to Putin personally.
