(7,725 posts)We need to start putting together a plan for a lot of things bc, we are going to have to act fast to click it all in. United, together, as Democrats. No bitching. Just roll this stuff through.

(8,013 posts)but let's be realistic. We're not going to be able to just roll stuff through. We may not even get a majority in the Senate and trump isn't about to sign anything he doesn't like and doesn't give a rat's ass if people suffer without whatever it is.
Hopefully, we'll have a majority in the House and that will help.

(8,013 posts)in Democrats who can't get much done right away. We aim high but have to be supportive and realistic about what happens.

(7,725 posts)them. That they will be the hardest working congress in decades. What I like about EW is shes pre-thinking big chunks of stuff bc in order to get back to where we were, it's going to take congressional multi-tasking. I think don ivan isnt going to be around (myself) and it's always best to be prepared anyway. I know what you mean about veto etc. Rock on noodle.

(19,204 posts)will be working overtime tomorrow, tweeting 'Pocahontas' trash until his fingers bleed. The deranged fool has pretty much lost all contact with reality now (it was a tenuous grasp before), and I foresee him composing some morally reprehensible diatribes after Warren's unveiling tomorrow.
Go get 'em, Elizabeth!!
