FLIPPABLE: Jim Haadsma for MI-HD62

Jim Haadsma is a native of Muskegon but has been a resident of Battle Creek since 1994 after he opened the Battle Creek satellite office of McCroskey law where he is a partner. As a lawyer, Jim Haadsma specializes in labor relations and workers compensation. He is passionate about both of these issues.

Haadsma is the son of foreign missionaries and spent a good portion of his early years in Africa, coming back to Michigan to attend college and law school here. Haadsma has 4 children, with the youngest about to graduate high school. Jim Haadsma is also extremely active in Calhoun County serving on a large number of boards and committees.

Haadsma was elected to 4 terms (8 years) on the Calhoun County Board of Commissioners before running in State House District 62 in 2016.
