"...sponsored by Rep. Kimberly Daniels, a Democrat from Jacksonville who runs a Christian ministry. Daniels cited the then-recent shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, for displaying the religious text, stating God is the “light” and “our schools need light in them like never before.”

A Democrat? Jeebus, don't we have better Dems in that state?

She is also an idiot if she thinks light will stop mass shootings.

She should stick to her ministry and get out of politics.

The only way a politician in some districts who calls themselves a Democrat can get elected is by acting like a Republican.

Because the stern-but-somewhat-benevolent sky deity is all-knowing, all-seeing, and can work in mysterious ways, unfettered by inferior humans making fatal mistakes. He will smite any and all malefactors with extreme prejudice.

There will be a Supreme Court challenge. For sure.

I'm sure Pence would like to amend the U.S. Constitution but we'll deal with this insanity if needed. These Dominionists cannot win this battle.

reminds me of my first trip to Disney World. On the wall in the ladies room someone had scrawled, "Jesus Saves" . beneath it others had written "trading stamps, old coins, rubber bands, etc."

I live here and while we're not ALL assholes, we do seem to be outnumbered.
