This should be on the news everywhere
The national media will not focus on this. They are too busy being distracted by trumps shiny object of the day.

(58,785 posts)employed by a minority party who were denied the ability to stop this appointment by choice of the electorate. At least all those feckless asses on the left who decided not to vote power to them. .
But even a second's consideration suggests to me that, whoa, just maybe they wanted to delay for a week. That could be for a number of reasons, though, none of which I can name.
Can any of you? The assumed reason for not doing it last week seems to be their stupidity.
But back to my WHY? Can anyone her think of a compelling reason why they would have needed to do it last week?
And what dreadful failure will now be the result of missing that mysterious deadline that wasn't already determined by feckless asses in their great wisdom?

(4,165 posts)Schumer should have already submitted the FOIA request and started working on any lawsuit.
I don't think they are paying attention and anticipating any possible actions the R's could do. What is so hard about anticipating an early hearing date when the R's have been known to stall on issues then rush through hearings. Remember their healthcare bill?

(58,785 posts)As for the assumptions on this thread that Schumer and the rest are all so profoundly less competent and knowledgeable than even the most clueless amateurs,... I truly cannot understand how anyone could come to that belief and even less why anyone would want to. But I'll leave those inclined to their thing.
