I stopped drinking Yuengling beer, a beverage I have enjoyed for many years. It's a local brewery for me here in the Lehigh Valley PA. CEO Dick Yuengling supported Trump during the election - and yes Pottsville, PA where the brewery is located is Trump country. But be that as it may, I refuse to drink that beer ever again. And not a fan of Sam Adams frankly so no great loss but it could be sweet ambrosia and I wouldn't touch it again

34. We shut the truck down in Johnstown NY this evening.

After a bite Alley and I Ubered to O’Conner’s Saloon for a drink. They only had Wild Turkey, or Jameson’s whiskey which is Alley’s fallback (she’s an inveterate Bourbon/Whiskey neat girl), I’m a beer kind of guy.

They had one stout, the ubiquitous Guinness Stout, which is my desperation “ten minutes before the world ends” fall back, and the only “craft beer” available was Sam Adams.

I declined, and went with a Newcastle Nut Brown Ale. Not a sacrifice, I know, New Castle is a solid Ale, but I also know I’ll drink a fucking Budweiser, water, or anything other than a
Treasonous Sam Adams from now on.
