What if Trump was trying to embarrass Mr. Brennan by secretly cancelling his security clearance in the hope that Mr. Brennan would try to access some information. Then, Mr. Brennan would find out his clearance had been cancelled. That would be a swift kick in the knees. Remember, when he fired James Comey, Trump didn't even tell him and was furious that Mr. Comey used his FBI jet to return to D.C. Trump is always a dick when he acts out against someone.

Mr. Brennan probably found out that his clearance had been cancelled from his many colleagues and friends throughout the government. Perhaps part of his strategy has been to publicly needle Trump forcing him to reveal the change of status.

Everything Trump does can be reduced to the simple maxim: What's the most dickish thing to do? Then do it.

I think Lawrence O'Donnell said that this AM on Fox and Friends they said that Omarosa beat the moron at his own game with how she is playing this. That probably really pissed him off too and sent him into his bag of tricks.
