This is turning into a massive comedy. Except it isn't funny right now. Maybe later when we can look back on all this and not be heartsick.

(82,849 posts)No doubt about it. I'd be recording every move I made, every conversation I had, memorializing everything in a memo afterwards, and blind cc'ing every e-mail to a personal e-mail account. I wouldn't trust anyone else to keep a record of my activities.

(82,849 posts)I've worked in those kinds of toxic work places before, but this White House seems to be exponentially worse than any of those. It's why anyone working there has to be suspect for the rest of their careers. Sean Spicer is just one example. He's trying to rehab his image and get work again, but his stint as press secretary will (and should) mark him forever. If some right wing sugar daddy wants to put Spicer on his personal dole, it can't be stopped. But no respectable employer should ever put this miscreant on a payroll.
