Do you think the verdict in the Manafort case will be a "mistrial"?

I think it is very possible.

If a jury is called in front of a judge, in such a highly publicized case, and questioned individually about whether they had seen something or maybe overheard something that might affect their ability to make a fair judgement, it would be very difficult to find 12 sanitized jurors.

That may be what the Manafort defense team is hoping for? In a surprise move, they never offered a defense for Mr Manafort? He never offered to defend himself.

Unless there is a tainted juror, or else they have a secret agreement for a pardon, it would be hard to see how any jury could not find a guilty verdict?

No. There is overwhelming evidence. If there is a mistrial it will be in only a few counts MaryMagdaline Aug 2018 #2

I highly doubt a mistrial is possible.

More likely jury can arrive at unanimous verdict on most counts.

No juror would withstand pressure of fellow jurors to hang on all counts. No one will go through that for Manafort.

They may love Trump but no one loves Manafort.
