Donald Trump's campaign is still soliciting illegal donations from foreign individuals including members of foreign governments at their official email addresses weeks after the campaign was put on notice by watchdog groups.
Foreign members of parliament from the United Kingdom and Australia confirmed to The Hill that they received fundraising solicitations from the Trump campaign as recently as July 12 two weeks after a widely publicized Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint issued on June 29 by nonpartisan watchdogs Democracy 21 and the Campaign Legal Center.
These latest campaign finance violations were first reported by the investigative website WhoWhatWhy and have been confirmed by The Hill.
The Trump campaign did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

(3,056 posts)I got a post a friend had put up a couple months ago on Facebook. It was a thing about how paying for Trump's wall would only cost each American $120, so what's the big deal? All the idiots were responding with "where do I send my money" type things. I posted up he could get my $120 from Mexico like he said he was going to. Crickets. Not a response, not even an insult. Nada. Loved it.

(47,468 posts)It has become a rather effective tactic for Donald Trump, never let the public focus on one thing for more than five seconds. Instead of explaining, just create a new media story. I'm sure he used this sort of crap in business for decades, but he's playing on a bigger stage now and his luck is running out. The games he has played with the media, don't work in a court of law.
Now one by one the sycophants in the administration are going to cash out, while they still have something to sell, even his children, and Putin is laughing his ass off. In the end, he'll have a few hardcore deplorables and racists who may go down with the ship, though one can hope that even they might end up seeing through him. It was just a big reality TV show for them anyway.
