Top GOP lawmaker's son gives maximum donation to Dem running for his seat

Bobby Goodlatte, the son of Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), said on Sunday that he donated the maximum allowed to Democrat Jennifer Lewis, who is running for his father’s seat in the midterm elections.

“I just gave the maximum allowed donation to Jennifer Lewis, a democrat running for my father's congressional seat,” his son said on Twitter.

“I've also gotten 5 other folks to commit to donate the max,” he added. “2018 is the year to flip districts — let's do this!”
