(52,243 posts)every time i hear a democratic politician speak, whether in person or on tv, they nearly always hit nearly all the right notes.
but it seems on tv i see far more republicans and republican-chosen issues. granted, that hasn't been working very well for republicans lately, but, well, actually, relative to how it *should* be working out, i guess, yeah, it is.
the media was obsessed with security when it came to hillary's emails. but now, burning an israeli source directly to russians in the oval office? yeah, they covered it, but anything like what they did to hillary? meh.
can it really be the fault of democratic politicians? i know they know all of this, i know they know how to talk powerfully about such matters when i see them in speeches.
but i don't know what's involved in getting on tv, other than that it's not up to the democratic politicians. they have to go through a tv program's editorial department or programming department or whatever they call it.
and that's where i think the problem lies. they're just not interested in giving anything close to equal time to our perspective.
