I don't know her name - But she's my hero.

I need to tell you this:
The other day I drove by this woman
Holding a sign
Protesting children in cages
Just her
She’s been out every day
All summer
She’s been flipped off
Had drinks thrown at her
Cursed at
And she’s still out there
I don’t know her name
But she’s my hero.

He's been walking every day since January or February, more than 170 consecutive days:

We should all be hitting the streets and the voting booths. Resist. Persist. GOTV!

it helps me be resolute in trying to be more like him now that I am in my geezerhood. Thanks, George!

I wish I knew more about him. I'd like to be sure he has comfortable shoes. Maybe someone more savvy than I can figure out how we can help/show our appreciation and support.
