Based on a report on NBC Nightly News tonight the last 4 years have been the hottest recorded. In Switzerland cows getting water drops, fish in Germany are drowning, southern Australia in severe drought etc etc. Topsy turvy weather all over the planet. Record heat.

So when are we going to challenge the GOP publicly for it dangerous and irresponsible denial and refusal to address the issue.? When are we going to get in their face?

IME climate science denial, like science denial generally, is almost always rooted in core worldview issues.

It's the belief that things happen according to plan, the belief in prophecy, the belief the end of our story is already written.

Or it's immersion in the culture surrounding those beliefs.

Unconscious, unexamined fatalism.
