I just wish people like him would take the zeal-clouded glasses off their eyes and see how truly hateful their words and actions are. These days, I read the news and find myself starting to detest religion and what it does to people.

that "cheerfulness" that they display seems forced. It's like they are trying to convince you, or maybe themselves, that they are so happy, happy, happy to be walking the walk and talking the talk. It just seems like a shell that they wear that hides who they really are and shows in public what they think they should be. Back in the day we would have called them plastic.

He is clearly hiding something. I don't know what, but it never fails with these guys.

I suppose I could use Randy Travis now. Naked and drunk and buying cigarettes! That is soooo totally priceless! I was not even one iota surprised. I always thought that guy was a complete Nashville fabrication to begin with.

It wasn't just me. I'm pretty sure I read where his promo story of being a former short order cook in the beginning was phony. I also know a couple first class country musicians, guys that almost made the big time that saw him live years ago. It was when he was at his peak. They said he was worthless live. His vocals were flat and he was fake playing the guitar.
