Trump to GOP: I will carry you

President Trump is rolling the dice, making the 2018 midterm elections a referendum on his ability to carry the Republican Party to victory against the odds.

In a string of Wednesday tweets, the president sought to reassure his supporters that they cannot lose as long as he’s in charge. The tweets came in the aftermath of a House special election in Ohio that left the GOP candidate clinging to a small lead in a district the president won by about 11 points in 2016.

With election forecasters increasingly confident that Democrats are poised to take over the House, the president insisted that conventional wisdom is wrong and that a “red wave” is building that will protect GOP majorities in both chambers.

Trump’s contrarian view of the midterm elections pits him against the longtime strategists, pollsters and experts in Washington who largely swung and missed on his shocking 2016 presidential victory. The president’s message to supporters is that if he helped Republicans buck history once, why can’t he do it again?

Trump bitched about the time Pres. Obama took to campaign for candidates, flying all overt the country in Air Force 1 , wasting fuel, money, and time. What a HYPOCRITE! As if being President is an 11 to 5 job?

Let Trump sink his party! Democrats are reaching out to those disaffected Trump voters, who were promised a wall Mexico was going to pay for. To Farmers being hit by the Trade Tariffs on their crops, etc. Those who were promised more money in their paychecks, now seeing rising prices for goods, services, Gas, etc. Tp those on the verge of LOSING their Health Insurance.

The bread and butter issues Democrats are speaking to voters about, Republicans refuse to. To them, everything is hunky dory. The recent revelations of the Trump Administration of corruption? Not happening...FAKE News.

Looking at the republicans as a whole, they seem to think that as they are in power, they have a right to plunder the government for
personal enrichment, they are on the gravy train, while taking health care from the poor, making the sick work for medicaid, while they
travel on private planes,play golf, and Trump sees to think all he has to to be president is hold a rally once in awhile, I think he has probably never read a government paper in all the time he has been in the White House, in fact, I wonder if he can read!
He has taken the debt to unthinkable levels and now wants to privatize social security.
I really think we are being governed by criminals, and those who are no criminals are cowards and too scared off losing their job
to stand up and speak the truth.
