(94,737 posts)Right now, this race is barely becoming competitive, and there are 50+ races that already are (we need 23). The only reason people would be contributing to McMurry right now is an emotional hatred of Chris Collins. As detestable as Collins is, our goal is to win back the house. I teach Democratic funders to squeeze all the emotion out of your funding decisions, and put your money where it will do the most good.

Totally a grass roots campaign. Very little $$ and no national DEM support.... Heh Heh SO FAR !!!
Erie County Dems didn;t want him.
Cuomo didn;t want him.
But, WE want him, and damn, we're going to get him.

He's a great guy and tireless campaigner but NEEDS MOOLA !!
