‘I will shoot you’: Houston grandmother fires shots at man exposing himself near her
A Southeast Houston grandmother defended her family from a man exposing his genitals to her granddaughter, reported ABC 13 News.
Granny Jean, 68, said the man was riding a bike down her street when he tried to break into her home.
“Some guy pulled off his pants and pulled his pants open, playing with his thing, and he ran up and I told him to get away from my door, or I will shoot him,” Jean said.
The man, who has not been identified did not heed her warning. “And he kept coming and reached for my door after it was locked, so I shot through the door,” Jean said.
The man tried to run away but collapsed once he was shot. Police arrived at the scene and he was taken to the hospital.
Authorities say he was shot near the chest, but is expected to survive.
