Lists of state districts have been produced by somebody purporting to show that the rate of sealed indictments is about 5,000 per month now since late last year whereas the usual rate is about 1,000 per month. The claim is that there are now 40,000 sealed indictments out there still sealed.
Any evidence that this might be true?
Note: QAnon has claimed this, but so have others. Any evidence? In searching, I've seen hits for lots of articles accepting it to be true at Q fan websites, but no other discussion of it; not even to debunk it.

Found this just by searching "sealed indictments." Explains the whole thing.

(49,032 posts)2. Thanks. I skipped over that, thinking it wasn't a reliable source.
However, I read it since you linked it, and thank you for doing so. It seems to be internally consistent and when I looked at the About page, they certainly seem to be serious plus they have a Billboard magazine affiliation.
In summary, it seems that the indictment issue is an example of people looking for confirmation and ignoring facts that contradict what they seek to confirm. The apparent increase in the rate is due to QAnon fans comparing apples to oranges, as far as I understand it.
Thanks!
