http://www.palmerreport.com/analysis/hope-hicks-air-force-one-trump/11779/The key here is the timing. Just days ago, Mueller called Trumps bluff on sitting down for an interview about the scandal. If Trump brought Hope Hicks onboard Air Force One today to try to get his story straight with hers before he testifies, then he committed felony witness tampering and Mueller will charge him for it. Trump has repeatedly demonstrated that when it comes to committing these kinds of crimes, he cant help himself, even as his attorneys advise him not to do it. Based on the timing, theres also another realistic explanation.
This kind of kingpin interview between Donald Trump and Robert Mueller only happens once everyone else has been interviewed. Its its entirely possible that Mueller is coordinating with Hope Hicks, and Trump doesnt know it. For all we know, when he invited Hicks aboard Air Force One today to try to conspire with her, Mueller signed off on it, because itll give him first hand witness testimony about Trumps witness tampering.
Keep in mind that if Mark Corallos reported claims about Hope Hicks prove to be true, it would mean she committed felony obstruction of justice. If Hicks is still playing for Team Trump, shes going to prison for several years. However, if shes playing for Team Mueller behind Trumps back, she could potentially avoid prison altogether.
Judging by Twitter, Bill Palmer is far from the only person wondering about this...

(7,947 posts)At what point does "obstruction" start?
At what point is she a "witness", and what if he doesn't KNOW it?
There's also the chance that all he wanted to do was tamper with her in another aspect in his awkward buffoonish way. Melania did put out that statement about supporting LeBron right after her husband insulted him.
Boy, if I were Melania, I'd be just hoping he cheats again, to make an iron-tight case for the divorce. I'd be sending Hope nice little texts-- Go ahead! He's great! Well, no, but he's rich. Go for it, girl, and take pics so I can use them in the trial.

(6,377 posts)There's a media flowchart that gets posted around here fairly often that breaks down the accuracy and reporting trends of about a hundreds different news sources, and Palmer Report is one of the dead last in terms of accuracy on the liberal side.
EDIT: I found it. I wouldn't say it's 100 percent accurate, but it's pretty good.

(9,670 posts)Goodness gracious, if it stimulates conversation and conjecture among us, and isn't being packaged as fact, but rather opinion, do we have to bare our teeth and growl every time it finds itself on a GENERAL DISCUSSION forum?

(26,748 posts)Because the author didn't label it as speculation.
The original poster changed Palmer's actual title... which was: "The real reason Hope Hicks was aboard Air Force One today with Donald Trump"
So the more appropriate question in this case would be: "Is it a sin to publish speculation under the guise that it's actually factual?"
To which the answer, of course, is "yes".
