I swear to dog, the world is upside down (Bill Kristol):

I’ve been looking at some polling crosstabs and I’ve got to say to my fellow white men over 55: You’re a great disappointment to me. On the other hand it seems fitting and consistent with the American story that women, minorities and young people now step up to save the republic.

I reluctantly appreciate any voice that attempts to take down the Tangeranus, except Richard Painter as he threatens a true Dem's seat (no comment on the people who made that situation a possibility).

Al Franken's Senate seat (and don't get me started about that!). I don't think he'll win the primary, which is on the 14th, and he's said he'll support Tina Smith if she wins. But I would much rather that he just go back to doing what he was doing before, which was blasting Trump on TV. And I never thought I'd live to see the day when I'd be applauding the likes of Bill Kristol.

the disenfranchised, threatened even more than usual under the dictator and his cult followers, are stepping up, and are collectively a major voice this year.

I just hope they show up to VOTE!!!! Raining or not, last minute poll place changes or not, having to work late or not...VOTE! It's more important now than ever.

Seriously, while I appreciate the overall sentiment, support from older white folks (especially men) has been the Republican Party foundation for decades. And Trump is the almost inevitable result of Republican rhetoric and policy over the last 50 years. In other words, people like Kristol helped create this monster.
