There are people who'd take the rap and go to jail for their kids, but he sure as hell isn't one of them.

A major flood occurred in WashDC and people are evacuating the WH.
As Pence swims by Trump, who is still standing, he asks, "How is it you are not underwater?".
Trump responds, "because I am standing on Don Jr.".

Dolt45 says in a tweet the Trump Tower meeting was totally legal... but also insists he knew nothing about it. Why is it so important to have not known about it if there's nothing wrong with the meeting?

Don Jr himself released a bunch of emails early on which include the infamous "If it is what you say I love it" which instead of exonerating himself only made him look more guilty.

I think one main hazard this whole bunch faces in sitting down with Mueller and/or a grand jury is that in their casting about for explanations for their actions they are likely to implicate themselves or others without knowing they are doing it. They are so ignorant of where the boundaries are, and so lousy at thinking two or three steps ahead, it boggles the mind.

You start off with denial. Like saying there was no meeting or that it was about y and z. Then you're forced to admit it was really about x but turned into a meeting about y and z, because x didn't amount to much. This is what Junior did over a year ago, and now Senior has repeated the same admittance. So, Trump's tweet this morning isn't really news.

Likewise, you start off by saying there is no collusion. You get called out for your verb usage and change to 'there *was* no collusion'. More info comes out and you start saying there was no collusion but it's not illegal even if there was. They're laying the groundwork for the inevitable: admitting there was collusion, while adding that it's not illegal and that Democrats do it too.

You start off by saying there is no family separation. Then you say previous administrations have separated families. Then you admit your policy is unique but add that it's the right thing to do and that the detention centers are like summer camps.

And on and on and on. It's a pattern, a strategy.

I don't think this displays ignorance so much as desperation. They know what they're doing.

And, from what I understand, Uday and the rest of them are going to wish it was the feds coming after them, because the state is much more harsh.

What charge would he face in New York State?

I would love to see the Trumpasses(except for the innocent ones, i.e., Barron and Tiffany), but I’m skeptical that justice will actually happen.

That might include things like money laundering, bribery, theft, extortion, prostitution, gambling, coercion... I strongly suspect that the whole lot of them, outside Barron and Tiffany are guilty on many, many, many counts. The first thing Mueller did after he looked at the evidence that had been collected up to that point was to hire the chief financial crimes prosecutor in the country. And, then he hired the next 15 of top financial crimes prosecutors after him. He turned a lot of his evidence over to the NY State Attorney General, which I strongly suspect was in response to Spanky pardoning various people.

Malcolm Nance says that they will not get away with this. He's been spot-on, so far.

"What if he turns out to be a loser?" Trump called his son Donnie, a name he loathed and never allowed for himself.

There was, of course, talk at one time that going after Trump's kids would cause him to go nuclear...
