Trump and His Attorney Change Story on Trump Tower Meeting

Both President Trump and his lawyer’s version of events surrounding the highly scrutinized 2016 Trump Tower meeting took a drastic change on Sunday. The meeting between Trump’s top aides and a Kremlin-linked lawyer, which has reportedly been at the center of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, was initially presented by Trump’s team as an innocuous discussion on adoptions of Russian children. In a statement explaining the motives of the meeting later reported to have been dictated by Trump himself, Donald Trump Jr. said the purpose of the gathering was to discuss “a program about the adoption of Russian children that was active and popular with American families years ago.” On Sunday, however, the president admitted for the first time, on Twitter of all places, that the meeting was held to “get information on an opponent.” Trump’s attorney, Jay Sekulow, also backtracked on his earlier statements regarding the meeting. In an interview on ABC News’ This Week, Sekulow said his initial claim that the president was not involved in penning Trump Jr.’s statement on the meeting was wrong. “I had bad information at that time and made a mistake in my statement ... Over time facts develop,” he said.

lie because Mueller is about to reveal it, or it could be that they have been innoculating the base about this for months and now feel there is no harm in bringing it out.

I don't know which is true. If its the latter, that isn't good.

The end game for them is that it was good for Russia to help Trump, they’ve already been saying this.

Just takes time and co-ordination.

Still waiting to hear what really happened at Bowling Green.

it was all about the adoption of a Russian gun-rights honeypot false flag instigated by Hillary and Obama.

The voices in my head have never been wrong.

Fake media would mean that Trump remains vigilant about his statements, the media reports the opposite, and time proves the media wrong.

It ain't happening that way.

That horrid fake media is getting it right each and every time, and Trump's stories keep changing. The sign of a guilty man caught in his lies. His base may be inoculated, but the rest of us see the obvious. We need to extend our audience to those who aren't paying attention. The fate of the nation depends on it.

IOW to get documents stolen from HRC and the DNC by Russia in order to

He sows confusion to distract us.

Worry about his projecting a war - and he's blaming the press ahead of time.

Before the election would suit him to attack Australia, Austria or Albania perhaps.

Or anybody.

Mark Corallo let leak to the media that he witnessed Hope Hicks telling Donald Trump that she would make sure Donald Trump Jr’s incriminating emails would never see the light of day.

Mueller tornado will just add this latest mumbo jumbo to the white board...my favorite question

"help me understand"....works every time....
