Mitch McConnell announces his 2020 re-election bid

Last edited Sun Aug 5, 2018, 10:58 AM - Edit history (1)

FANCY FARM, Ky. —
Saying it was never too soon to start, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell formally announced his 2020 re-election bid in his home state Saturday ...

McConnell chose Jonathan Shell, the 30-year-old majority leader of the Kentucky House of Representatives, as chairman of his campaign. Shell made national news in May when he was ousted in a Republican primary by a high school math teacher who had never run for office before.

As McConnell spoke Saturday, hundreds of teachers in matching red T-shirts stood and turned their backs on McConnell as they chanted, "Vote him out!"

McConnell has been embracing Trump ... McConnell votes with Trump in the Senate 94.7 percent of the time.

He has to go. He has one of the lowest ratings in the Senate, if not the lowest. There has to be someone who can beat this lying, thieving traitor. I can't stand the sight of his stupid face.
