I hear people defend his 40% approval numbers saying people are "low information"... they aren't paying attention to all the sick shit he's doing and saying. But what I can't fathom is that you only have to watch him speak for about 20 seconds to know exactly who he is... he's an egotistical, self-centered, ignorant asshole regardless of what his policies are on anything or what he's actually done. People may not understand politics but EVERYONE has a hateful stupid uncle that comes to the family gatherings that everyone tunes out. How is it he appeals to anyone who isn't a racist or misogynist who hates and fears everyone that doesn't look just like them? I understand the racists and unfortunately there are a lot... they see him as their champion. But what about anyone else? What's appealing about an asshole who only cares about himself, never shuts up and isn't particularly smart?
