Has "When they go low, we go high" been abandoned?

I haven't heard many Dems saying this in the past 6 months. More and more Dems, and not just here on DU, seem to be supporting the idea of "the gloves are off". Are people realizing that the moron's cult is pretty serious and dangerous or is it that as time passes we see the GOP enabling him and Russia and we know it is up to us to stop them from destroying the country any more than they already have?

But also is hardheaded realism. If going high means presenting a vision that overwhelms the low opposition, fine. But rolling over, not fighting back, mean that the Low wins.
