Michael was, is, and will always be apolitical.
Absolutely his right.
But, he’s no hero, just an amazing athlete and a smart businessman.

Still if he wants to remain apolitical, that is his right. It is the buffoon that dragged him into this controversy.

I like Mike's way.

( notice that I didn't use the Hitler reference) over Trump is not political, but rather proof of an intelligent, sensitive human being. Thankfully we still have SOME restraints, or obviously, Trump would be giving his full Putin impulses free rein.

No one had a higher public profile in the United States across all segments of the US except possibly John Lennon.

When I travelled back to the US after a multi year absence in Asia with limited US media I asked three cab drivers in three different states about who was making news and I was astonished to hear "Michael Jordan" was the answer each time.

If he is concerned about personal threats against him or probably of more concern, his family, this could have only increased when his father was murdered.

When you get to a level of Jordan or Lennon you have to worry about some comment setting off a murderous rage by some nut job, but that's just my take.

Was reading some of the tweets from NBA, so supportive of LeBron and Don Lemon, very negative ones about Trump. One of them said, you have to be insecure to attack someone who is doing good...that's Trump, for sure. Glad Jordan responded too, bet Trump doesn't 'like Mike" anymore.
