LONG BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) — Long Beach Police and transit officials are investigating whether a crime was committed this week when a man in a suit dragged an unconscious, partially naked man off a train, leaving him on the platform.

[Warning: graphic video] Cell phone video shows the moments when the man dragged the other man off the train at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The man recording the video says the unconscious man had just suffered a seizure, Los Angeles ABC-affiliate KABC reported.

The man in the suit then grabs the unconscious man's belongings and tosses them off the train and returns to his seat.

The man recording the video argued with the man in the suit about what he had done. The two of them continued to argue for about five minutes before the man in the suit gets off the train to check on the unconscious man.

Just when you think you’ve seen the depths of human indifference, an unidentified train passenger has justified the dragging of a seizing man off of a train by saying people had places to be.

Local news channel FOX 11 has interviewed a man identified only as Billion who says he was present at the moment a passenger dragged an unconscious man from the train to the platform. The man’s pants were down and his genitals were exposed. Billion says it is his voice you here on the video.

The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday night at Wardlow Station in Long Beach, California. At this time the parties involved have not been identified by their legal names and it’s not clear if any charges will result from the incident.

“Dude just had a seizure, and this white boy gonna drag him off the train so he don’t miss his ride,” Billion can be heard saying.

He said that the man who collapsed on the train was wearing a medical wristband and “had metal staples in his head looking like he was fresh out the hospital.”

Billion said all of a sudden a “white guy […] dragging the guy right off the train.” The unidentified white man’s reply in the video? “There are a lot of people on this train that have to get home.”

The white man could be heard admonishing fellow passengers for not hold the door for him.
