Could have written a LONG reaction to Comey's tweet, went the metaphor route instead.

Harry Shearer crafted a character who was basically a witless oracle, a seer who saw little, yet found himself compelled to share gems of what he believed to be great wisdom and insight.

I read the Comey tweet and immediately thought "Derek Smalls."

So yeah, anyone who watched and enjoyed This Is Spinal Tap can probably see the same similarities I did, and those who didn't will probably have their own reaction to the Comey tweet.

Comey's a bit of a tool...if you go to his Twitter page and read the several most recent tweets, he talks about Twitter being a good place for him to share ideas, and in the next tweet, he says he never reads Twitter comments. So his idea of sharing ideas is that he tells you his idea, and you respond, and he doesn't read it.

Sounds almost like another guy I know who likes to share his ideas on Twitter.
