Sen. Orrin Hatch - major hypocrite

Sen. Orrin Hatch has opposed every Democratic nominee to the Supreme Court in the past 24 years.

"I'm tired of partisanship and frankly, we didn't treat their candidates for these positions the way they're treating ours," Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said of Democrats opposing Kavanaugh's confirmation due to "dumbass" partisanship.

I know people sometimes look for a bit of good in a republican but that's like the abused spouse thinking their abuser will come home in a good mood.

I wonder if he's developing dementia. Serious question.

Visuals would be good when it comes time to discuss the "merits" of Kavanaugh.

Something like, "I would just like to say to my esteemed colleague from Utah, you're a lying sack of shit!"

Put one up showing how many times Hatch voted for a Dem candidate versus an R candidate.

Back during the Miguel ESTRADA trainwreck (Senator WEASEL pronounced it "mee-gwel" instead of "mee-ghel&quot , he was all, like, "How can Democrats claim to support minorities when they oppose Mee-GWEL?!1" All with his Shirley TEMPLE pout.

Get what he was doing here, perhaps not knowing what he was doing it: Accusing of discrimination while demanding that the deciding factor for support be rooted in discrimination.

It was Poppy BUSH with the Clarence THOMAS nomination that pioneered the gambit of nominees drawn from usually Democratic constituencies, putting Dems superficially in a bind.

The answer is simple: For Dems to oppose solely on the basis of Wingnuttiness, apart from race/ethnicity.
