Nixon colluded with the North Vietnamese to delay meaningful progress in negotiations until after the 1968 election. LBJ had proof via tape recordings. He confronted Nixon privately and Nixon lied. LBJ did not go public with it due to the sensitive methods used to get the information. But Nixon committed treason to win. The tapes exist.

Reagan did the same thing with Iran. That story is well known.

Trump’s treason is just another example of Republican treason to win presidential elections.
