CNN asked supporters of President Trump to explain QAnon, a right-wing conspiracy theory, in tense interviews outside of his Pennsylvania rally on Thursday night.
CNNs Gary Tuchman asked Trump supporters, some of whom were wearing or displaying Q gear at the rally, about the wide-ranging and vague conspiracy theories spread under the name QAnon.
Trump supporter Timothy Rasmussen told CNN that said Q represents a movement.
Its a shift. I can feel it coming, some call it the great awakening, Rasmussen said.
Theses people are nutters.

be very interesting to reveal what media business started the Q. perhaps its kellyannes "social media' business. maybe check the shirt sellers websites.
I don't think it's one of the Russian troll businesses- they're more into spreading fear, divisive propaganda, race troubles, democracy busting for their RW friends.

It's time to take the RW's appropriation and co-opt tactics and use it against them.

Wtf is 'Nonevidence?'

(65,069 posts)The non-evidence is made of antimatter and if you actually touched it you'd be annihilated. That's why they really don't want to see the non-evidence. It's too dangerous.

(5,810 posts)things they read or hear just reflects how little they know. Ask them to go into detail about some of the things they allegedly support and they stutter and stammer with confusion. So they know just enough to be dangerous and yet think they are informed and in the know. I doubt there is anything that can make them understand how badly they have been duped by tRump unless maybe to be personally stung by some of his policies. Even then, they are likely to shift blame to someone anyone else other than their hero, tRump. It will never occur to these morons that theyve been lied to over and over.

(58,724 posts)I agree that this theory is even crazier than MIHOP - however, I would argue that a fair amount of the Q people sort of know their thing is a joke, whereas the MIHOP people seemed like hard core believers.

(1,990 posts)are simply people looking for something - ANYTHING - that justifies their bigotry and prejudice and makes them out to be the "victim" of all the groups of people who they do not identify with. It is that simple. All this is, is the furthering of "birtherism" and "clinton body count" craziness into the Trump era.

(180 posts)Maybe the news media needs to cover actual news. These Trump events are just damn pep rallies. If the pResident says something relevant and policy-related, then mention that. Otherwise, ignore him apart from a mention of Agent Orange being in a particular place for a rally of supporters. Promoting his crap makes it worse. It's clear support and attendence at these crapfests is going down. Video shows the sea of empty chairs.
Letting Putin's Puppet suck all the oxygen away from real stories was the mistake. Without the free publicity, he evaporates. Let his ego start dealing with empty rooms because the loonballs can't get on TV and watch his support flush. Trump is so obviously needy that his unmassaged ego will suck him into himself like the terminal stage of a black hole.
