Why are the MSM giving Trump and Putin a pass on admitted collusion?

in the clip below, President Putin is aske "did you want Trump to win the election and did you direct any of your officials to help him do that?" Putin answers "yes I did, Yes I did." He clearly affirmatively answered both questions. Yes Putin wanted Trump to win and yes, he ordered the interference.

This answer was never contradicted or corrected. Why does everyone leave out the second part. WTF

The crickets I'm hearing are from the land of the GOP.

and my job with the union includes political research. I'll tell you that I have heard the first part brought up, that Putin admitted that he wanted Trump to win, but I have yet to see anyone pressed on the second part, that Putin ordered official to help that happen.

If you have any documentation to the contrary, please let me know.

I do know that I have heard this brought up. I particularly remember it discussed when the White House posted that edited video and transcript. The double question (paraphrased) of 'Did you want trump* to win, and did you help him' and Putin answered with a double "yes".

Maybe that's not what you are referring to - but that's what I'm talking about.

11. I have heard it talked about - admittedly not strongly, consistently or loudly enough

and not in the very focused way it absolutely still strongly deserves.

I'm wondering if some people have convinced themselves that both of those 'yes' answers were said in emphasis to the first question and had nothing to do with the 2nd. Certainly NOT how I heard it.

...but never hear the second part discussed, which is Putin ordered the interference. Never. and that's the truth.

I haven't read an article or seen a show that discusses this part. None.

It should receive way more coverage.
On the other hand I think M$Greedia knows that the Russians could not do this without both the Con's and ReTHUG complicity.
