How long before GOP legislators are confronted over "global heating". It does not look like just "warming" anymore. All these record temperatures and extreme weather events seem to indicate that we are in worse shape than we realize. And what will next year look like based on what we see now.

The CBS report featured some tourist interviews about how ungodly hot it is in most of Europe. Plus satellite images of how brown it is in Ireland and Britain were stark. Carnoustie during the British open was baked. Fairways were yellow.

Plus on Hartmann today there was a discussion about unexpected CO2 leaching into atmosphere from the soil. The focus of the discussion was such that there may be other sources of CO2 that the climate models had not addressed. Present models could be way off and that the situation is more urgent than scientists realized.

We cannot allow this vicious denial go on in the US.
