(13,305 posts).....I think it's hysterical that these mouth breathing morons in the far right and Christian evangelical movements view Trump as some kind of savior.
I always thought facism could come to the US with a young, charismatic, successful, smart politician at the helm. But the fact that these goons have decided that a bloated, spray tanned, bald, philandering, low intelligence, barely coherent, failed scam artist who was considered a joke well before he even thought about joining politics shows just how pathetic those people are. It didn't even take someone moderately intelligent and appealing to sucker them all into declaring him their savior.

(58,724 posts)Edit to add: I posted this thinking that his last movie was "2016: Obama's America" which grossed $33 million. I thought the 2016 meant that was when the movie was from, but it turns out that it is a movie about what would happen in America by 2016 if Obama was re-elected - and was made in 2012). There were 2 movies since then grossing $14 and $13 million. Thank you for the poster(s) who spotted this error and provided additional info.
Let's hope his most recent film makes no money.

(99,710 posts)Amidst the more than 20 movie sequels and reboots slated for 2017, Michael Moore is being tapped for a follow up to his 2004 award-winning political documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The sequel, called Fahrenheit 11/9, in reference to the date that Donald Trump became president-elect of the US, will take aim at the 45th president of the US, just as its predecessor went after the George W. Bush administrations entry into the Iraq War.
The film remains the top-grossing documentary of all-time, with $222 million in global box-office returns.

(99,710 posts)So if add the grosses for the two documentaries you cited the gross is still $176,000,000.00 less than Fahrenheit 9/11 ?

(32,086 posts)It does not appear that my local cinema will be showing it any time soon. And, I live in the town where Lee Atwater grew up, and continues to be represented by Joe "You Lie" Wilson. My guess is that it won't gross much, because it won't be available in most places for anyone to see it.

(12,667 posts)As for the box office, maybe 10 million gross, and that's just because the leaders of the evilangelicals and the Whyte supremacists will make sure their cultists see it twice to ensure they get the concept down.
