Two stories:

First, on PBS earlier this evening describing the Q conspiracy which really scared me.

The other - an interview with the plastic gun guy - Cody Wilson. This link is from CBS but I saw it someplace else

Basically he is saying that he won. One way or the other, every person who wants a gun will have it, anyplace, anytime.

Brian Williams also had a story about the Q conspiracy and we wondered whether they will ever go away, once Trump is gone. We doubt it. They and all the deplorable will continue to incite crowds against any institution (except the NRA, I suppose).

Life imitate art. Earlier this year, on Homeland, we saw how a rural community is being incited by a radio personality. And then a Russian operative really stirred things up, resulting in armed clash with the FBI. Oh, and a Russian young woman cozying to high people in the administration..

We will have a major repair to do to our society after Trump is done but I don't know if we will be successful.

Sorry for the downer, but I am really scared.

1. I find it better to take one day at a time

one goal at a time. That’s what life is all about, it’s not about what will happen in 2024. What makes me feel better is thinking about millions of decent people, majority, in fact. There have been worse times, just not in our lifetimes. My heart goes out to the decent people who are surrounded by deplorables in the reddest states. We still have freedom of movement and it may be worth considering moving to a decent state, we only have one life, there are no second chances.
