Meanwhile, in the equally large Democratic field, state Rep. Tim Greimel of Auburn Hills led with 21 percent, followed by Haley Stevens, who was part of President Barack Obamas auto team that revived General Motors and Chrysler, with 17 percent and entrepreneur Suneel Gupta at 14 percent. Fayrouz Saad, who was Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan's director of immigrant affairs, had 10 percent and Nancy Skinner, a climate change activist and radio host, had 4 percent. But more than a third of those surveyed for that primary 34 percent were undecided.
For each of the primary polls, EPIC-MRA contacted 700 likely and active voters last Monday and Tuesday by phone, though since it was an automated poll, no cellphones were included. While that and the fact that automated polls can have low response rates can affect the outcome of a poll, EPIC-MRA started the survey only with phone numbers of people who have been active primary voters in the past. EPIC-MRA says the poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

(36,747 posts)I will be contributing to the winner of the Dem primary.
MI-11 was the gerrymandered district created especially for Thaddeus McCotter in 2002.
It wont be around after our new redistricting commission reworks the map and we lose another seat in 2022.
