I'm watching Trump press conference on CNN, and this Lame Stream liberal news network showed Donald Trump declare that he has no problem shutting down government if Congress doesn't pay for his wall, and quick. He said it very clearly, and he said it twice.

How dumb does CNN think we are?

Because we already know that Mexico is paying for the wall. We were assured over and over that Mexico is paying. CNN, by showing the President of the United States in his own words, shows their Trump Derangement Syndrome. Do they take us for Dummies? Lol. Shutting down our government will really put the pressure on Mexico to pay up.

This is the smartest negotiation ever, in history. Better even than anything Abe Lincoln ever did. And proves the only collusion was with Demicrats.

And if it's not it's Barack Obama's fault.

"why do we have to pony up taxpayer money for his wall when he has told us hundreds of times that Mexico is paying for it?" to a Trumpeteer in my local paper yesterday.

He gave me a long and convoluted explanation about renegotiating NAFTA and enacting tariffs and that enacting those policies will guarantee millions more for the U.S. at Mexico's expense.

Okay, fine, I answered. So will the U.S. taxpayers get a rebate check once the tariffs and re-doing NAFTA pays for the wall? I asked.

I have it on good authority that the process will begin as soon as the final plans have been approved.

It appears that the main sticking point is the insistence that the design must include Mariachi Band platforms, Taco truck parking facilities, and an agreement that no pinche gringos or gringas will ever be allowed to enter Mexico.

As soon as the main pinche gringo agrees the work will start. Upon completion the Mexican government reserves the right to arbitrarily refuse to pay any pinche gringo contractors.

It's over. As [crazy] as that sounds, you need transparency through that wall. But we have some incredible designs."
