Friend: Trump's attacks on media an emotional response to negative coverage

Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy defended President Trump's attacks on the media on Sunday, saying that they are an emotional response to negative press coverage.

"I think it comes out of emotion, which is he's very angry about the press treatment," Ruddy, a friend of Trump, said on CNN's "Reliable Sources." "You guys haven't given him a moment to breathe. Ever since he was elected, people on this network, on MSNBC, were calling for his impeachment."

Ruddy said that news networks have earned Trump's ire by giving a platform to pundits and analysts who have repeatedly denigrated the president, and said that Trump deserves a break because he is "new at his job."

Ruddy also touted Trump's record as president thus far, complaining that the media has not given him sufficient credit for boosting U.S. economic growth.

Maybe because the economy's been on an upward trajectory since the first term of the Obama administration. Does Drumpf want credit for the sun rising in the morning also?

nothing to do about emotion or negative coverage same with trumps attacks 3 years ago on DOJ, FBI, NSA, etc. Its about diminishing their reputation and make a certain number of americans question it.

who is so unable to control his emotional responses to negative press that he can't resist constantly lashing out in deranged ways? Every president since the beginning of time has received negative press, and while it no doubt pissed them off, they were adult enough to be able to suck it up and not have hissy fits about it in public. Having a president with the emotional responses of a four-year-old is not a good thing, and for this tool to cite Trump's emotional instability as an excuse for his wacko tweets is just bizarre and desperate.

for a long LONG time now.

Also, if he wants some friendly press, tell him we said, “MOVE YOUR UGLY ORANGE ASS TO CHINA, YA PUNKASS CRYBABY”

The Chinese government is banning media criticism of Trump.

Fuck right off, Ruddy

Believe only me. The press is the enemy of the State. Only I can fix it. Anything you read is Fake News. The Deep State is trying to undermine me.

Yada, yada.

Yes, the Trumpster is new to politics, ignorant of norms and traditions. But he's aware of the autocrat's playbook and admires the successful 'strongmen' around the world.

When all this is over, the Trumpster will be given plenty of credit for . . .

Betraying his Country.

All the excuses are just noise.
