The NFL National Anthem Debate is alive and well again - can’t believe it! Isn’t it in contract that players must stand at attention, hand on heart? The $40,000,000 Commissioner must now make a stand. First time kneeling, out for game. Second time kneeling, out for season/no pay!

... and defend the United States from domestic and foreign threats? I'm pretty sure that doesn't include attacking our intelligence agencies, free press, and threatening to jail political opponents, all while siding with Strong and Powerful Putin. Let's deal with that before we talk about NFL players and their 1st Amendment rights, OK?

At least in the eyes of Trump supporters. And whoever wrote the tweet knows that.

At a time when Trump is being called treasonous and unpatriotic, he's reminding his racist following that the treasonous and unpatriotic ones are those (insert 'n' word) who disrespect the nation (e.g., by silently and peacefully making a statement about an epidemic of police brutality, including murder).

Trump must keep his base fed during troubling times.

The Owners came out with a rule that they must stand if on the field.
It is NOT a part of the CBA and the players are opposing it.
