Americans should know that the Queen OPENLY dissed Trump

Few Americans know that the Queen of the UK (and Canada) engaged in "brooch warfare" when she was forced by protocol to greet and even spend time with Trump.

She's a very clever Queen, a person who knows a lot about the importance of symbolism.

Accordingly, the brooch she wore on Trump's arrival day was none other than the one given to her by Barack and Michelle Obama (as individuals, not as representatives of the U.S. government.)

The second brooch was worn when she had to endure one-on-one time with Trump later in the visit. This brooch was given to her by Canada -- a Commonwealth country whose leader is now on the Trump shitlist.

As a Canadian, I couldn't be more pleased with how our Queen handled the dreadful Trump visit.

Since this brooch warfare got little U.S. coverage, I just wanted to share this good news with my American friends.

Spread the word! Liz rocks! So does Brooch Warfare!

I was particularly amused when he talked at his newser with Theresa May about how much he'd seen of her during his visit. It escaped his attention that the reason was likely because no-one else really wanted to spend time with him.

We know that Trump always likes to talk about all the historical records he imagines himself setting, so here's a new one for him: He made history by being the U.S President who, on a visit to the UK, met the fewest number of people ever.

Remembering a good man and a true leader.

During the blitz Queen Elizabeth was asked if the princesses would be sent to Canada for safety's sake. She answered, "They wouldn't leave without me; I won't leave without the king and the king will never leave."

Understanding that President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama, presented Her Maj with the gift of a brooch, did iq45 and Malaria think of bringing her a nice gift during their visit, or did they just show up empty-handed?

I can just imagine what they would bring:
• A copy of The (sh)Art of the Deal?
• An autographed McDonald’s Big Mac wrapper?
• A souvenir golf ball from his resort in Scotland?
• A challenge coin commemorating his upcoming visit to Helsinki?

I could go on, but I would welcome other suggestions.
In case he’s ever invited back.

American MSM media, no matter the station, still will not call trump what he truly is. A despicable, racist, sexist wannabe dictator. What? don't want to show this country's dirty laundry to the world? Don't want to lose a misplaced pride in a country that has this as a potus? Well, there can be no pride in country that has this as potus He already has taken off his clothes in public, and he's a dirty, dirty muthafucka. Never washed or ever clean. Already a despot, he's shooting for the big time, right up there with Hitler, Vlad the Impaler, Mooosolini, Stalin(when he starts killingwhite anti-trump Americans to hold on to his power), Caligula, because he is a sexual pervert, Mao, again when he starts killing white anti-trump Americans to hold on to power through his brown shirt surrogates. He's already started with AA, but they are not counted by MSM, yet, if ever they will be, Kim jung-il and son un, currently a trump fav, King Herod, Pol Pot, again when he starts killing white anti-trump Americans to hold on to power, Bashar al-Assad, Idi Amin DaDa well that's my point. He is my book is ranking right up there with the worst, EVER.

that the brooch she wore the first day of Trump's visit was the Obama brooch. The brooch that she wore for the Tea Visit was the one that Queen Mary wore to the funeral of the Queen's Father, George VI. That brooch is not worn often in public. The brooch that she wore for the last day of Trump's visit was the brooch that Canada gave her.

https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a22236857/queen-elizabeth-donald-trump-brooch-shade/

The day Trump arrived, Elizabeth chose to wear the brooch that Trump's predecessor President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama gave her during their last state visit to England—which, given Obama's reputation with the royal family versus Trump's, likely says something. It was purchased out of pocket as a personal gift to the Queen, reportedly from a jewelry store in D.C. The petite pin is vintage from the 1950s and made with 14-karat yellow gold, diamonds, and moss agate.

The next day during her actual meeting with Trump, she wore a diamond brooch she inherited from her mother, the one her mom wore to her father's state funeral.
And on Trump's last day in the UK, she debuted the Sapphire Jubilee Brooch, just given to her last year as a special gift from Canada. Trump did not meet with her, but the show of support for Canada could have been Elizabeth's way of responding to Trump's constant insulting of their leadership. Who knew three brooch choices could say so much without Elizabeth saying a word at all?

====

She also chose an outfit to wear during the visit with Trump that was blue & yellow, the EU colors.
The coat was blue and is covered a blue dress with yellow flowers.

Her Majesty took one for the team. That "working visit" was loaded with little subtleties.

Madeleine Albright wrote a book about her own "brooch diplomacy" "Read My Pins". Subtitled: "Stories from a Diplomat's Jewel Box." Also, former Watergate attorney Jill Wine Banks has said she, too, telegraphs messages with her choice of brooch.

Chav or pikey
These unpleasant slang terms, originally used to refer to Irish or Romani gypsies, have evolved to mean a certain type of flashy working class kid clad in designer sportswear and gold jewelry. The closest U.S. equivalent would probably be trailer trash.
