Take Note: Paul Ryan Criticized Trump's Sorry Helsinki Performance

A few other Republicans have chimed in, too. But, guess what? Paul Ryan is leaving Congress. So is Jeff Flake. They don't have to run for anything, at least for a while.

They aren't concerned with the Trumpian base. That's why they feel free to criticize. Now, listen for criticism from the ones who do have to run:

...Crickets...

The entire lot of Republicans in Congress have pretty much been compromised into supporting Trump, regardless of what he says or does. Only those not running for re-election will speak out.

GO TO THE POLLS IN NOVEMBER AND TAKE PEOPLE WITH YOU!

Neither has anything to lose. Republican running incumbents in the House and Senate are spineless.

am pointing out that those making criticism have nothing to lose by doing so. This is not about the criticism, but about who is criticizing and who is not.

like Flake, Corker and Ryan still don't do anything beyond issuing a stern statement or tweet. If Flake really meant what he said, he should resign from the Republican party, become an independent and caucus with the Democrats for the next 4-5 months until his term has expired.
