I sense a real air of desperation as any republican still clinging to a shred of sanity sees the ship going down and is headed for the lifeboats. Between twitter and the comments on news sites' coverage of today's events, it seems like there's been someone assigned to each tweet or article to parrot the talking points. I think you hit most of them (except for the Blues Brothers excuses) There's a real pattern to it.
