The independent newspaper Novaya Gazeta reported that (Russian), in a Stalin-style touch, a bag was suddenly thrown over Mikhailovs head during a meeting of fellow intelligence officers, and he was led out. Mikhailov has not been seen since. The third arrest was of Dmitry Dokuchayev, a hacker known by the name Forb.

(17,015 posts)They are worse than useless, they are a liability to Putin. There will be a video of them saying they hacked the election on their own because they love Russia so much and were afraid Hillary would destroy their beloved country and that will be the last time they are ever seen.

(5,995 posts)Think back to the requests for discovery that were made some months ago in connection to earlier Mueller indictments. The defense lawyers for Russia connected defendants asked for all records relating to any US involvement back to the mid 40's.
Putin would love to unlock the CIA records going back to the Bay of Pigs and beyond.
Putin and his pony Donald would make the comparison to dozens of manipulations and outright coups to assert that foreign interference and complicity is just a part of modern politics as practiced by all major powers.
